It's a beautiful picture!
At first I thought "How odd...celebrating the moon landing and here's a picture of the earth instead of the moon. WTF?" Then it occured to me..."DUH! It's a picture of the earth taken from the perspective of the moon!" Sheesh! *bangs head on desk*
I remember watching the landing and subsequent events sitting on my Dads lap. I was 5.
