We All Have Fantasies...
What are yours?
Yes, I recognize that this question is non-specific enough that I am leaving things wide open for fantasies involving midgets and pudding wrestling, as well as fantasies of being filthy rich and living on some beach in the Tropics. And that's ok...Anything goes.

My fantasy at the moment is being financially secure and being able to provide without strict budgeting.
Posted by: Christina at July 14, 2006 09:35 AMHere are some of mine:
1. Have all the degrees finished that I want to do.
2. Be financially comfortable
3. Have a full time maid & cook
4. Be able to sleep through the night without assistance.
5. Princess KK to get rid o' her feeding tube...:)
I often fantasize about buying a motor home and driving all around the country looking for the perfect cinnamon roll.
Then I remember I don't eat cinnamon rolls.

My #1 fantasy, above and beyond anything I may say about a quiet tropical vacation, is to have some sort of stability with my oldest son. I can never predict how he's going to act from one moment to another. What may have been fine one day causes a meltdown another. A reaction/discipline/punishment that worked wonders on Tuesday has no effect on Saturday. This spreads throughout all aspects of his life: eating, sleeping, going out, potty training (which at 5, is getting really old)...you get the idea. I love his outgoing personality, his joie de vive, his sweetness, but the unpredictibility...my fantasy is to understand him and have a rough guess as to what might come next. That's all I want.
Posted by: jen at July 14, 2006 11:54 AMMy fantasy today is that my husband doesn't have to work such long hours away from home. And also that I could make money doing something I like while staying home. And also that the dog will never again bring a formerly alive animal into my house when Mike isn't there. And there's also probably one involving Hugh Jackman and Colin Firth, but a girl has to keep some things private you know. ;)
Posted by: Karin at July 14, 2006 03:17 PMNo pudding, huh? In that case ... I got nuthin.
Posted by: Bob at July 14, 2006 03:43 PMMy fantasy besides the one that the addition is finished and my parents have moved in without any glitches - I live it.
I have a comfortable - albeit not wealthy by any means - life in the country. My husband works for a terrific company that allows him to work from home if his project is unclassified (which it is right now). My children are good students and are happy, healthy, and well adjusted. I have every thing I need and fortunately, I don't want anything extravagant.
What more can a girl ask?

Just like everyone else, I fantasize about being able to get along without punching that clock every day. Free time with no worries! I don't really want to be rich, but I sure want the free time. OK, right now I HAVE the free time, but I still have the worry about how I'm going to support the family if I don't get a job soon. But I still don't want to look for one.
Posted by: Miss Cellania at July 15, 2006 08:50 AMi'd love to successfully have any and all degrees i desire -- or rather, that i need to maintain a secure and steady job of something i love. and a certain marriage and family would be 'ideal'. ; )

To find that single spot in a single heart that was made just for me.
Take Care
Michael
To wake up with him every morning.
